Rascal Flatts is a country music group with roots
from Columbus, Ohio. The group ended up being founded in Nashville,
Tennessee. Three members: Gary LeVox, Joe Don Rooney, and Jay
DeMarcus have been the members of Rascal Flatts since its inception.
Interestingly, Gary and Jay are second cousins.
To date, Rascal Flatts has released a total of five
albums. These albums have achieved Multi-Platinum status. They have
also released 21 singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. Out
of these 21 singles, 8 (about 1/3) have reached the Number One Spot on the
Billboard Hot Country List.
