world. There are also countless videos portraying the long history of
professional wrestling.
In previous years, WWE was called Capitol Wrestling
Corporation which was promoted by the World Wide Wrestling Federation (WWWF),
and then the World Wrestling Federation (WWF).
The three common brands that are known today
SmackDown!, Raw and ECW. WWE can boast a revenue of about $486 million
dollars in 2007 with an estimated profit of $52 million dollars. WWE is
even a publicly traded stock on the NYSE!! Well known wrestlers are Hulk Hogan, Chris Jericho and Kurt
Angle.
