Not too many people had heard of the Jonas Brothers before they opened for the Hannah Montana tour several years ago.  In 2010, the very talented Jonas Brothers are about to begin an exciting tour with Demi Lovato.  The Jonas Brothers are compised of:  Kevin 22, Joseph 20 and Nick 17.  An agent actually found Nick when he was at the tender age of 7 while he was getting a haircut!!!

The three Jonas Brothers each found their special love of music in a different way.  Kevin who is the oldest at 22 was home sick about 4 years ago. Bored at home but still sick, he happened to find a self teach guitar book, got hooked on playing guitar and spent the next four days mastering the guitar. Nick at 17, who shares the lead vocals with his brother Joseph 20 basically started singing the same time he began to talk.  He was known to get up in the morning and start singing and he would not finish singing until he went to bed!!  Joseph always wanted to be a comedien, but he still had a love of music which makes him the perfect complement to this trio of brothers.

Prior to becoming known as the Jonas Brothers, they appeared in commercials for Burger King, Battle Bots, Clorox and Legos.  However, their true love was music and they practiced nightly in their basement to achieve perfection.  They even wrote their own songs.  The Jonas brothers enjoy working and performing with each other as it is a sense of security for them.   Kevin, Joseph and Nicholas claim to get in a triangle when they write a song and end up working it over and over again until they are pleased with the lyrics for the new song.  Joseph sees staying together and performing for many years to come because they are brothers and brothers don't stay mad at each other and they work things out.

One of the groups first songs, Mandy, was devoted to Mandy a very special girl their mother taught sign language to.  The boys said she was the absolute sweetest girl they ever met and she had a special way of knowing what you were thinking all the time.  Many of the boys' songs come from their own personal experiences of teenage stuff like dating and also about becoming famous at such a young age.

Demi Lovato will be performing with the Jonas Brothers during 2010.  She opened up "The Burning Up Tour" a few years back.  She had a lead role in "Barney and Friends" on PBS and has also been seen on "Prison Break."  Her most recent production was the Disney TV show, "As The Bell Rings."  She will also appear alongside the Jonas Brothers in the Original Disney Movie, "Camp Rock," being shown on the Disney Channel.

The combined talents of the Jonas Brothers, Avril Lavigne and Demi Lovato was seen at venues across the country during the Summer of 2008.  Venues were packed with crazy fans!!!

An interesting fact about the Jonas Brothers is that they all were born in different states, but they consider New Jersey to be their home. Their parents introduced them to music with family singalongs at the piano when they were growing up. These very talented brothers are a breathe of fresh air and their concerts are entertaining and fun.  The youngest brother, Nick, has his own band called Nick Jonas and the Administration.  He toured the United States during the winter of 2009-10.
