Jimmy Buffet  was born on Christmas Day in 1946.  This makes him 63 years old in 2009.  He is a well known singer, author, songwriter and businessman.  His music style is "an island escape" and his many fans grow each year.  His fans are also known as "Parrotheads."  The band he plays with is called the Coral Reefer band.  Some of his hits include "Margaritaville" which ironically is number 234 on the Songs of the Century list and "Come Monday."

Buffet is also a fine writer and has authored many songs through the years.  Another thing that Buffet is involved with is his two restaurant chains:  Margaritaville and Cheeseburger in Paradise which he developed in conjunction with the parent of Outback Steakhouse.

My family personally was able to go to the Margaritaville Restaurant at Universal Studios in Florida several years ago.  This was perhaps one of the most fun nights we ever had.  Trying on the crazy hats in the gift shop is a something you don't want to miss out on.  Food, music and atmosphere are phenomenal..

Jimmy Buffet's wife's name is Jane and they have three children (2 daughters, 1 son).  The children's names are Savannah Jane, Cameron Marley and Sarah Delaney.
